Mission Statement
It’s a simple premise. We are passionate about giving. From small kindnesses to grand gestures, we wholeheartedly believe that if you take time to thank strangers, family, friends and business associates it comes back to you.
Integrity has no gray areas. We pledge honesty and fairness to all: our employees, our customers, our vendors, our community.
Our clients are our lifeblood. We promise to practice what we preach and extend our appreciation and provide excellent customer service routinely.
We’re obsessive about quality. We sell only premium fresh flowers, fine gifts and award winning gourmet and insist upon excellence in every design.
We enthusiastically commit ourselves to our social and environmental policy.
We will be profitable so we can continue to do what we love, make others smile and support the causes that add meaning to our lives.
Social and Environmental Policy
There are many problems in the world. Most are deserving of our attention. We dedicate ourselves to those that raise our ire, inspire our passion and compel us to action.
We firmly believe:
- That everyone, everywhere deserves food and safe shelter.
- That literacy and quality education are critical to our future.
- That we must save the planet by curbing global warming healing our polluted water and air, most especially the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries.
- That NO child should EVER be physically or sexually abused.
Furthermore, as a matter of practice we purchase Fair Trade merchandise and buy flowers from sources which have demonstrated responsibility towards farmers in building sustainable communities, providing fair compensation and respecting workers rights.
Additionally we honor requests for auction donations from many community organizations throughout the year. If you would like to request a donation please send a letter of request to us.
WILDTHING supports the following organizations through financial contributions, in-kind donations, and time.
As a member of the Eastport Business Association, Eastport Civic Association and the Maritime Republic of Eastport we fully support all fund raising activities of these organizations which benefit our community.
Additionally, we sponsor the following local programs, events and initiatives:

- Bouquets for Books—Bring a new children’s book to our Eastport shop and we’ll give you a complimentary bunch of flowers.
